NMC Test Online

Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi guys!

My documents are already on queue however, when I logged in to my NMC account, I cannot open my "assessment and application phase" section and there was no feedback as well. When I checked my account two days ago, I can still open it as a "read only" and my documents as "document received".

Does this normally occur?

Hi! My friend just wants to know if NMC considers experience as Company Nurse in its minimum 1 year experience? She has 6 months company experience and 6 months bedside. Can this suffice? Thank you!

I've posted a topic before regarding the topic and I haven't received a reply regarding the review materials or how the CBT (computer based test) works. I have sit for the said exam days ago but I failed. I couldn't find any word that could describe how frustrated and disappointed I am because I can't search real sample practice test that could somehow help me familiarize what kind of test it is. Unlike NCLEX, there are a lot of sample exercises/exams that an examinee could practice answering the test questions. Please help me what should I review and what webistes or review materials should I use. How to have a better grasp about the nursing practice in the U.K.? What reliable and legible websites should I search? I'm really afraid to resit for the next cbt because I don't want to fail again. I must pass my second attempt for that cbt. Please help me. Btw, I am applying for RN 1 (ADULT NURSE). Please help me in any way. All the tips, suggestions, recommendations will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot! : )

another concern: I don't know if I am the only one who couldnt find the link regarding the NMC BLUEPRINT? Please tell me where to locate it. Thanks a lot :)

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to get my paperwork gathered for my application as I passed the CBT test and I am getting an error 500 message when I try to download their form for qualifications for my second qualification and so on. is anyone else encountering this problem? has anyone found a solution?

@ julzc619: congratulations on passing the cbt! would you share some tips/review materials? many thanks and good luck on your application process :)

There are a lot of tips given here by pass test takers. It would help you if you will give some effort in reading back the forum. Godbless.

I took the Adult CBT and It was pretty easy, just think in terms of public safety. Also know diabetic care infection control, etc,. A lot of elderly care questions.

personally, I did not go through all the blue prints as suggested, there are tons! I just signed up with http://www.nmcprep.com and did practice tests.

now the dilemma is my application. If any paperwork is wrong it will automatically delay my application 3 months, I don't understand how I can avoid this if their own website is ineffecient and can't provide the documents they want us to use

Company nurse experience is fine, but the problem may arise from the fact that she doesn't have a solid 1 year experience in any area. NMC requires one of the reference forms be filled out by someone who has been a senior and can vouch that the applicant has been practicing for at least 12 months post-registration.

@Silverdragon102 and @ intensiveJay: thank you :) I appreciate your response. I'm also hoping if there are updates/new topics that were encountered by the current test takers because the last thread about the cbt tips was far behind. I know most of the applicants here are on their advanced/last stage of their application and I'm wishing them all the best. As for me, I'm starting back to zero so I'm gathering as much info as I could to help me bring closer to the next level. Again, thank you and all the best! :) Godbless :)

Hi,

Im new here and i would like to thank all of you for sharing tips for the cbt. I took it last December 9 and i passed. However, i'm worried since it has not reflected yet on my nmc account even though it says on my pearson account that i have passed. Has anyone of you experienced the same? Also, i have not received any emails from pearson or nmc since that day. I check the inbox and the spam everyday and see notjing that says about the exam.
