Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

hi..i am new in this forum..i have read the previous threads. I have booked my CBT for SEPT 15...started reading royal marsden and Code..those who have recently appeared for CBT ,could you help me with tips.I am really stressed seeing the blue print..

Hi guys, what is the alternative for someone seeking for a chance to be registered in the UK when one hasn't completely satisfied the 12-month post-registration experience in the Philippines?

Edit: and that getting that exp is difficult since he is now residing in the UK with a BSN degree in the PH. Will NMC offer alternative routes for cases like this?

been to NMC 4 yrs ago and they said they really need the 12 yr post registration experience.. So either go back to phils and get that 12 yr experience or have your degree assessed by NARIC.. BSN is equivalent to N/SVQ 4 or higher national diploma (in which case you only need 1 more yr in uni to be a Nurse) then try your luck with uni If that is really possible and if after that you can register as a uk graduate nurse instead of non eu. :)

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I'm from jedegal manppwr agency, shrewsbury hosp. Yes, i'm also waiting for my decision letter. My last docs was delivered 17th of this month. They say it'll take 40 to 70 days upon queue. I already took the ukvi ielts prior regitration to nmc.

Ur welcome cess! in omanfil, we can be be deployed even without the decision letter. Just the cos from the company and then we will apply for a visa application. I need to re sit Ielts but ukvi this time because i took the ordinary ielts thats what i used for registering for NMC.

Hi lloydsabijon! Why do you have to resit IELTS? The regular ielts is valid for visa application until November 5 right?

Hello guys! =) I don't know if I have read this in the earlier responses, but I would like to confirm if it is really true that for the EMPLOYER 2 (previous employer), you need to have at least ONE year experience with them? =)

In my case, I worked for 9 months with my very 1st employer and with the current one, more than TWO years. I'm not sure, maybe they'll question my papers or have my documents on pending with that issue. Please I need your insights. Thank you! =)

Hi jocasanova,

As far as i know, you only need 1 year work experience to qualify as a nurse in the UK. Your 9 months experience from your 1st employer and more than 2 years from your 2nd employer is good enough. I had a 3 year experience but from only 1 employer and I didn't have any problem. Hope this helps.
