Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
@dianaoldfield
Thanks. =)
Hello Kurokocchi, would you mind posting your NMC timeline? When did you submit your online app? I have just finished sending all my papers last week and it would take 10-15 working days to reflect on their system.
My case doesn't really apply to those under the new scheme since NMC have had my papers since December last year (I started my NMC application under the old scheme August 2014). I had them transitioned on June 10 and they told me it would take 70 days (like for everybody here), but I just got my DL.
Oh my!!! We're almost exactly the same scenario. I'm from the old scheme as well. I passed my exam on May and had my documents transitioned on June 10 and got email confirmation from NMC that they have transferred my documents on June 18.
Is that so? If it's the same as me, it probably won't take long then. Yay us!
Hi Kurokocchi ,congratulations for your DL. Then that means you can book your OSCE now. The date will be your choice.? I'm on the assessment stage but my documents are not complete yet, I'm hoping by the end of this month all my documents will be submitted. I still have a long wait in front of me lol. Please share your experiences with the OSCE. good luck and God speed.

DL means Decision Letter. If I'm not mistaken, in the old scheme, an applicant just has to send documents for assessment to the NMC. Once deemed eligible, a decision letter to undergo the ONP (Overseas Nurses Programme) will be given. The applicant has to go a training proper (I think around 6-9 months) comprised of a brief university study (where essays and assignments are required to be passed) and simultaneous work as Band 3 or 4 (correct me please if I am wrong).
About the new scheme, I think you're currently undergoing the process so I guess you know how the new scheme goes.
Anyone here from ASC who has been denied of the CoS? According to a friend of mine, who is an applicant as well, there has been a change in the point system with regard to the release of the Cos. I'm not entirely sure though. Anyone who might have first-hand source about this can surely be of big help and enlightenment.
