I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Thank you den_csa for the encouragement to intentionally get my package in the local post office. NMBI sent it last January 11, 2017 and the package arrived in the Philippines last January 25, 2017. For those who are waiting, I think you have to find your mail because more than a month of waiting is too much and your post office might not doing their job.

Hi kelubi. Did you just ask if u have a mail at your post office? I visited the mandaluyong post office and they were asking me for a tracking number. They did not even check if I have a mail. They insisted that I provide them with a tracking number.

In my case, I asked everyone for the time stamps on their NMBI pack and calculated that from the day NMBI sent it, it will take 11 days to reach our post office. So I called NMBI and asked the exact day they have posted mine, so counted 11 days from the date they have given and went to our post office. Thankfully, I arrived there at noon and the delivery guy just left so there are new mails at the post office. I asked if a mail from Ireland, roughly about A4 size, has arrived and right then and there was my NMBI pack! Call NMBI and ask for the exact date your pack has been posted and add 11 days to it. I live in a rural area so there aren't many mails arriving thus they didn't have a hard time looking for mine. Hope I helped.

Thanks for the advise. Mine was posted last June 5, 2017. I might as well check visit the post office again tomorrow. I just hope I wouldn't deal with the same persons who kept asking me for a tracking number.

Thanks for the info. I have been to the post office two times since they are not answering their phone when being called. Unluckily, I cannot get a hold of the postman assigned in my area, since according to the personnel, the postman already left to deliver letters. I asked for his contact number and they cannot provide me one, they just gave me a name and told me visit them again tomorrow. This waiting game is frustrating enough, and the philpost is just adding to that..
I was also told that it takes about 3 weeks or even longer for them to upload the documents in their system. I've sent queries to their email support as to why the status remained unchanged but there was no reply from them. I don't want to sound negative here, but I just hope that they fix their system.

Hi maxolon, I don't know how do they do it in Singapore but I guess the process is the same. Just bring your pack to relevant bodies and ask them if they have filled out similar papers before. Good luck.
