I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

Since on the 30th of May my account changed to further info required all info sent. I have been calling NMBI on this issue. Last week I called they said they will look into it within 5 to 7 working days. I pray it changes to decision pending instead of assessment again.
Don't worry. Still call NMBI after 7 working days. Hopefully your status will change soon. I will still encourage you to be a little more patient. You will get there.

Hi Vera007, your status went from 'Assessment' to 'Further info required'? Or it was Review Pending to Further info required? What was the problem? Did they tell you specifically?

My account changed from Review pending to further info required, and I sent the needed info to the email that contacted me ( that is correction in the date I filled in section 1 of the pack, that I registered with the board in Nigeria . Since then I have called NMBI over 4 times on this issue. At first I was told it was going to take 15 working days next was that they were going to raise a query today I called they told me to resend the mail again to [email protected]. To be sincere I'm fed up.

I understand your frustrations.
First it is better to email the assessor who emailed you for the information needed and not the [email protected]. Because that person is the one assigned to your account. Second, email that person again with subject 'Outstanding Document / Re #' (ie. Outstanding Document / Re 123456). Then on your email body, mention that it has been almost a month that your portal still shows 'Further Info Required', give all the detailed information again, attach any necessary document to support your claim. Give you birthday, address at the end and full name too.

Thanks carlomarcos. My account has never showed assessment. It changed from Review pending to further info required since then nothing. I have sent messages to the assessor's email several times. But no reply.
Mine is also on Further Information Required as of now. It's too long, I'm wondering if there's still a light at the end of the tunnel here. I'm basically enjoying the Philippines, enjoying it too much, I'm already getting lazy pursuing the NMBI. lols. I'm falling out of love with it. Just kidding. Nonetheless, I'm still in touch with Kate Cowhig. I email them from time to time.
NMBI requested me to send another Employer's Reference (the latest one, cause I sent one from the hospital which was 2 years ago), so basically, they have two references. So what happens after that? Do they call the referees? BTW, I can't log in the Viber account anymore guys. How are you?

They sent an email about the latest reference, so I sent another one about 2 weeks ago. Poof another 3k. Hmmmm, I'm wondering if the NMBI assessors know about this thread. Paranoid mode on. >.
