I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Yeah, it's really frustrating. It might be because it was holiday last month. I don't know if our application packs are stuck in the Phil post. I am trying to contact them but I don't have a tracking number since it's is regular mail. Are you in Manila?
i am in cebu... nurseireland agency in ireland told me they are expecting the packet this week or next week and once they get it they will courrier it to serviecon their counterpart agency here in the philippines
According to my courier, NMBI received my initial registration forms last January 3, 2017 and it's been 2 days since then yet I haven't heard from NMBI. Did NMBI send an email or call you just to acknowledge that they already had your forms or you had just waited for the application pack unknowingly of the status?
I am really anxious because I just had an emotional breakdown for I had failed my CBT UK exams twice, and now I decided to push Ireland. Before I am with Chesham but I decided to process my papers on my own. I didn't use CPL's address.
Hi, just read your comment about NMBI application. I am also with CHESAM and currently I am still waiting for my application pack which I sent last Nov 1; however the NMBI sent the application pack on Nov 14 and same day they also deducted the over reg fee from cc. Unfortunately, until today I still didn't receive the application pack. I don't know if it's because of our post office ��. Anyway, with regards to your problem, is there anyway that you can contact CPL thru email or just contact Miss ********* directly? I guess that would help.
Hello dawnsophia12! It took 14 days before NMBI received your registration package? Did they inform you that they had your reg forms? Anyways, I hope you had already started your application.
We are not allowed to contact CPL directly. We were given contact persons from Chesham about our NMBI reg and other concerns. If I just knew this could delay my DL, I didn't authorize CPL in the first place.

Hm, when do you think is the right time to call NMBI because I've been calling their office but it is always giving a busy tone. I am not sure if the line works properly or what.

Hi! I'm also in Cebu. I'm also considering in applying as a staff nurse in Ireland thru Serviecon agency in Cebu. Could you tell me your experience by far in that company? for instance, the way they handle you as a recruit, processing assistance, whether they are transparent on everything that you are involved with and whatnot. Also, did they offer you to work in care homes or in a hospital?
PS: I also have sent the NMBI for the application request since Dec 7, but due to some Debit Card issue the NMBI fee was delayed for 2 weeks. Up until now I still haven't got my pack yet. I'm a bit worried as the next steps would take ages to complete. Gosssshhh this is worrisome. Any updates on your Pack? Have you tried calling them for follow-ups on your pack?
Hi! Can anyone in here in light us ahead about the "Graduate program" on the pack? Like, who should we give that form to, is it necessary, what if we haven't undergone to that program would they accept it as it is and whatnot. PLEASE DO GIVE INFOS ON THIS! AND HELP US NEW NMBI APPLICANTS :)
If I can remember it right, there's this summary/list of forms you have completed at the last page of section 1 (those are boxes that you have to tick). In my case, which I also read from other successful NMBI registration, I didn't send back the graduate programme form since I didn't attend graduate school. Or just to be sure, and if you have a local agency that can advise you about this, just simply consult them.

Hello! I'm also kind of worried because based on the information I've read online, recent backlogs of applications in NMBI are handful and Ireland's healthcare system is kind of chaotic nowadays. I'm calling their office but there's no one answering. Did your pack already arrive? Did NMBI contacted you once they had received your registration forms? It's been a month already for you and I can also feel your anxiety. I'm also anxious on my end LOL.
