I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

Hello floweryRN, relax and be patient. NMBI sends application packet thru regular mail only so you might receive it after 2-3 weeks or more than a mos like in my case.
Hi Kelubi008, sorry for late reply. Anyway, until today I still didn't receive my application pack. I have already emailed and called NMBI about this and asked them to send me another copy of application pack to my agency in Ireland or to CPL. Maybe they will send it this week or next week. According to my agency, NMBI has backlog issues these days so expect delays. Yup, they received my over reg form November 1 ( using DHL tracking no. ) but they sent out an application pack Nov 14 already. How's your application?
This waiting game is really strong, and your patience too. I'm amaze by your ability to stay calm; you've been waiting for 2 months and here I am so impatient hehe. I sent my reg form last December 31 and they had received it last Jan 3, then my bank informed me that by Jan 11 NMBI had already credited 350 euros. I expect by the end of the month, hopefully, my application pack will arrive here in the Philippines. Even though I'm dying to call them regarding the status I know there's nothing I could do about the application pack LOL. But yeah, you're too calm nice one. I would go mad if your timeline were my timeline. Thank you :)

I sent my application to NMBI on December 4 and they received it 3 days after based on the DHL online tracking. They emailed me regarding the debit card issues on December 8. Sent them another debit card number on December 21 (because I have to apply to another bank) and the NMBI confirmed that the card was accepted. The NMBI fee was debited on the same day too. Now I am waiting hysterically.I am going cray cray! Anyway under what agency are you @kelubi008? Are you from Cebu as well?

Nope, I'm from Manila. Well, technically I have no agency but I have an old job offer from Chesham and I'm still considering them cos they keep sending me emails.
We still have a long way to go. We still have to gather the requirements and wait more. According to this thread, NMBI will send our application pack the same day they had our payment, not sure. I'm also kind of annoyed by their slow process but we can't really do anything about it. Let's just hope and pray
Thank you for your advice. Luckily, i received my amended app pack yesterday. Since it is a scanned copy of my app pack, Is it okay to use long bond paper in printing? And what if my nurse manager before has been reassigned to another department? Should I still let him fill out the form or just let the current manager whom I have worked with for almost 3 months only? I resigned last year btw.
Yes it is ok but if you would ask me better to print it on standard A4 bond paper. Thats the size of the original app pack. It is also easier to send paper using A4 in couriers. If you are refering to the employer's ref form have it signed by the chief nurse/Nursing director of your hospital just to be sure.
I submitted my overseas registration application form JULY 10 through my Dublin-based agency. The fee was taken July 15. My agency received my application pack July 26. Then, they emailed it to me that day. I printed the soft copy of the pack and I started to accomplish them.
So, my suggestion is that when you fill out the overseas registration form, be sure your address is the same as your agency's. That is if you have one in Ireland. They will receive it a day after NMBI sends it. Unlike if you have no agency there, it will take weeks before it reaches the Philippines.
NMBI accepts printed soft copies of the pack that is why you dont have to worry if the original pack is not in your possession.
May I ask what particular pages were not sent back to NMBI? I mean do I still have to send back everything like Section 1 & 2 front pages, blank pages and instruction pages?

as for me, i sent everything back except the part for the graduate programme form because i did not attend any post grad education. At the end of the pack part 1 is a checklist in which you have to check for every document/part you sent. So if you did not send back the graduate programme form, be sure not to check the box corresponding the graduate programme form.
Hi, I have sent all document to NMBI including from different authorities however my online tracking shows CCPS, EMPLOYER REFERENCE AND TRANSCRIPTS OF TRAINING is still outstanding. but I'm sure that they have sent the docs already to NMBI
Please anybody can advise what to do to get update the status of the application.
