I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
I called yesterday at 1700 PHT and my call got answered right away.
I had no problem receiving my pack last year in September so I didn't do anything to follow up whether it was sent to me or not. If the 350 euro got charged from your credit card, your pack was sent to your address on that date.
Hi! Under what agency are you? any updates on your pack? A member in the Nurse Ireland Group on FB told me that NMBI is having a loads of backlogs due to the holiday season and the numerous number of NMBI applicants.
It has been 2 months, 1 week and 3 days since NMBI received all of my documents on October 19. However, my change name docs, IELTS and grad programme form remained outstanding. I phoned NMBI regarding this and I was just asked to email a copy of my TRF. I also explained to them that I didn't go to a graduate school so I didn't send back the form to them. After 3 weeks of no update on my online account, I called NMBI again. They couldn't give me any update about the status of my outstanding forms and since I authorized CPL in following up in my behalf, NMBI sent an email of instructions. I asked what's in the email and all I was told was to wait for my agency to send me that email. *sigh*
What's more frustrating is that I'm encountering this delay since I authorized CPL. My local agency here, Chesham, is nothing but a disappointment They are so disorganized. I have emailed them a copy of my email to NMBI when I authorized CPL. I sent them another email with screenshots of my NMBI pending documents and all the DHL tracking numbers of my NMBI pack and yet the email that NMBI sent to CPL hasn't been forwarded to me. It is so clear that my local agency hasn't informed CPL when I authorized them. I don't know what to do. *sigh*
Are you in the phils? It has been 3 months since nmbi received my pack but until now i havent received my DL. So i will have to wait again i guess. I have the same problem with the 'IELTS' section being an outstanding docs. What i did was i emailed them with a copy of my TRF. After 2 weeks, it became okay.
Hi, usually if your status for nmbi online is further information required, somebody from nmbi assigned to process your papers will email you about it. From there they will accept documents attached through email. I think in your case you have to attach again your trf and affidavit and stress that you didnt attend any graduate programme. hope this helps! Are you from chesham? I'm also one of the applicants here in the Philippines and is currenty experiencing delays with my application. I sent my application form together with the fee last Nov 18, 2016 thru my Ireland based agency. After 2 weeks, my agency sent me my scanned copy of application pack only to find out that my last name was misspelled. My agency told me that NMBI was informed about and said that using an application pack with misspelled name is fine. Thinking that I might experience more problems if i'll use this, I informed my agency that I'd like to request for an amended and new pack and they said they'll keep in touch with NMBI. Holidays passed and I didn't hear anything from them but I did expect that after the holidays, I'll get my new app pack. However, I was wrong. My agency told me that NMBI didn't reply to their emails last december and is not responding until now. My agency even told me to try calling NMBI myself. And so out of frustration, I did even if it's expensive but wasn't able to speak with anyone. Just spent hundreds for nothing.
I've read from a blog that I can just try including the misspelled name on my affidavit. Anyone of you who has a sample copy of this affidavit? I still don't know what to do yet. 😫
I think in your case you have to indicate in the affidavit that your name and the name in the app pack is one and the same. Visit your lawyer and he will do that for you.. also when you register online dont forget to update your personal details.

Hello. How long did it take you to get your DL? What month and year did you apply in Chesham? I think my application in their agency is still active however I decided to process my application by myself. I just learned that NMBI had credited the 350 euros last 01/11/17 but I still haven't received any update from them? Will I be getting an email telling me that they had already shipped the package? I don't know what to expect from here nor how long will I wait before I start gathering all the requirements lol. What did Chesham told you? Will you now be getting the visa?

Yup, they already charged the 350 euros. So, I won't be getting an email that they had shipped my package already? How long did you wait before the package arrived? Was it delivered straight to the Philippines or you had your agency in Ireland to act as buffer? Thank you again.
Took me a month to get my DL from the time my online acct changed to decision pending. I had my interview via skype October last year. I also did processing of nmbi by myself.

Hello dawnsophia12! It took 14 days before NMBI received your registration package? Did they inform you that they had your reg forms? Anyways, I hope you had already started your application.
Hi Kelubi008, sorry for late reply. Anyway, until today I still didn't receive my application pack. I have already emailed and called NMBI about this and asked them to send me another copy of application pack to my agency in Ireland or to CPL. Maybe they will send it this week or next week.
