NMBI Application Pack

Published

Hi everyone,

I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.

I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.

The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.

I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

Thanks.

All of my documents have been received by NMBI and I'm now waiting for my DL. Hopefully it won't be too long.

I am also waiting for my employer's interview. According to my agency most of the hospital workers, I bet those in the higher positions and are tasked to do the interviews and screening, are in vacation right now so it might take a few more weeks. I am targetting a hospital in South Dublin, and another one in North Dublin.

hi i alao saw you in a thread re: NMC application. Are you applying for both? May I know your agency here in the Phils as I am having second thoughts in applying to UK because I failed the CBT. Hahaha. Thanks.

Hello everyone! Can somebody send me a sample of nmbi application pack please? Thank you and good luck to all!

Here's my email [email protected]

Your response would be much appreciated.

Hi to everyone. I just wanted to ask, does anyone already took the aptitude test in Ireland? I already have my decision letter and an employer. I will be taking the exam in the next few months. Can anybody please share their experience with the exam and what are coverage that need reviewed comprehensively. I also know that there is a practical exam included, please share your experience. Thanks!

I will be taking the aptitude test but all I have is the link : The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, RCSI, receives approval for A Competence Assessment (Aptitude Test) for Overseas Nurses wishing to Register and Practise in Ireland - Royal College Surgeons in Ireland to help me. I haven't talked to anybody who actually took the exam and passed it. Hopefully someone from here can help us.

Hi,

Can you please advise which agent are you using..I m also from Abu dhabi and wish to start my registration process as as possible.

Regards/Jerry

Can anyone help me here to secure my good standing certificate from saudi arabia ?, i have been requesting for i for how many months now but my friend in saudi arabia find it hard to pay for it thru ATM. They have tried everything but it seems like nothings happening. My application pack already arrive but my saudi council good standing is not yet available until now.

Please help me.

Hi sheryljoyze18! Are you already in Ireland?I was already employed in Saudi Arabia from 2011-2016. Can you please tell me what other documents from Saudi the NMBI asked from you to send? Your response would really be of great help! Thanks!

I am considering applying to Ireland as a nurse since there is an agency advertising that a pediatric hospital in ireland is looking for nurses here in the philippines. Regarding that, do you have any idea about how well nurses are compensated in Ireland. Somehow, I observed that the offer is a little bit bigger than the offer in uk. How is the cost of living compared to the compensation? Is it more advisable to work in Ireland rather than the UK?

Hi everyone!

I just want to give a brief picture of how my application is going.

Skype Interview January 13

Sent my Overseas Request for Application January 15 (via snail mail to Ireland, from Singapore)

Got my Offer Letter dated January 25, thru my agency

Checked my bank, NMBI registration fee was already deducted on January 25

Got my Application Pack January 5

Sent Off Forms to my husband (Visayas: PRC, school) and a former colleague (Visayas also: for previuos employer and Post Graduate Training) January 6

Left with me is another Form B for my employer here in Singapore, and another Form C for Singapore Nursing Board to fill. my target to get it done and sent within the next 2weeks, by January 20, I should have already sent off my portion of the pack, plus I have made sure Form C was already sent by my nursing board here.

My real problem though is: IM PRETTY SURE MY NURSE MANAGER WILL NOT SIGN MY FORM B, as I am on a contract here. I wonder if anyone of you had the same problem? Would Nursing Officer/Clinician be accepted to fill the form, including a good explanation of why my nurse manager is not the one who signed it? Will they(NMBI) really make a call to check if there is a nurse manager in my hospital?

By the way I already have an IELTS, and Im married too (for those having problem with name change) but my passport and all other ID are still in my maiden name, so for my application, I just used my maiden name foreseeing this problems of name change issues.

I have a cousin there, she said an NSO authenticated marriage cert is enough for when you want to process him/hubby as dependent.

Hi aiziah! I saw your post and i'm having the same dilemma as you! i'm also from sg. what exactly did you do for your referral form? i know it's a long time already but I hope I could still get a reply. I hope you can still read this.

Hello everyone! I have received a lot of emails asking for the application pack. In as much as I wanted to forward my application pack to all of you, i am unable to, due to some changes and update of the instructions of the NMBI application process. I know you guys are too excited to start and are already anxious as to how?where?when?what? to dos...i would suggest that you read the guidlines thru the NMBI website on the Non-EU group NMBI - Overseas nurses & midwives who want to practise in Ireland: NMBI it will give you a vast of explanation and precise instructions on the things that are bugging your head right now. I hope I am able to enlighten you even just a bit! Goodluck to all of us. Keep on praying!í ½í¹í ¼í¿»
