I took my test on 1/27....I read on here some people are getting their results back in 12 days...well that's today. Does anyone who took their test that day have theirs back? How about those of you that took it just before then...are your results back yet?

I was fine this morning until I looked out my window and saw the mailbox. Then it hit me. Now I'm a NERVOUS NERVOUS NERVOUS wreck!!

Alrighty...hmmm. Well I'll be waiting on the mail truck.

I received my acceptance letter, but then my school called me and said that I recieved it by accident. They said I should take the test again in may. Im so angry and confused. I feel so discouraged i dont feel like continuing. How can this happen? Any Advise?

OMG, I am sooo sorry to hear that happened to you! You have every right to feel confused and angry. Did they give you any reason as to why you received the letter? Are they requesting that you take the NLN test again? My only advise to you is, dont give up on your dreams, no matter how far away they may seem. I hope everything works out well for you!

At Louisiana Tech you have to wait six months before you take the NLN again, so I'm scared that if I don't do well this time, I won't get in soon enough to finish my degree in the two years that it supposed to require. :(

They said that I met the criteria but that there not enough seats and that i should take the nln again but I really dont want go through that stress again. They dont know how i received the letter but I really think that they should me put me in. If there is a seat they might call me but i doubt it. Its just so insensitive of them to tell me that it was a mistake and that im not in. If was their mistake they should just accept it and put me in the program. its something that ive been waiting for a long time and worked hard toget this point. Im 36yrs old and wanted to achieve my nursing degree by the time im 40.

Just pray for me. Thanks mashell

I know what you mean by trying to get your degree by forty. I am thirty-four and hope to get accepted this year so that I can start with my degree. I have two kids and know the stress of just trying to do something for yourself. Everytime I think about your situation I get upset for you. I can't understand how an institution could make a mistake like that. I dont believe none of the reasons they gave you are acceptable. I will pray for you and I still hope everything works out for you.

WHOOHOO Im in, they called this afternoon and told me that Im in. Persistance pays off. I went to the everyday to show them that i was serious and i know that the program is not easy but to give me a chance. Thank God they listened.

Hey all! I'm new here but just wanted to share my good news about the NLN because I'm just too excited to contain myself. Let me preface this by saying I've never taken biology, chemistry, or physics so you can imagine how I might be a little worried going in. But, I studied my butt off the last two weeks and scored a 152 (99th percentile) today!!! YAY!!!! *doing a happy dance*
