Hi everyone! I'm currently in the process of applying to NJCU's accelerated nursing program. Any current students or alumni have advice?

Anyone else out there applying to NJCU? Or any other accelerated programs in the NY/NJ area?

Based off of the previous years, it seems that March 22nd was the date that the people who applied to JC found out about their status; however, since there was a snow day (and a delayed opening the day after) that may have delayed the entire process.

I'm super anxious too! I keep checking my email nonstop. Hopefully we'll hear something this week.

Also waiting to hear for JC campus. I'm anxious but also afraid to find out. I was thinking early April for a decision but the sooner the better. NJCU is my first choice but I also applied to Caldwell and they send out decisions May 1.

I've been curious about other peoples stats also, so here are mine:

overall GPA- 3.45, hesi 91 cumulative and no healthcare experience. I feel like my essay was strong as well as my letters of recommendation.

Joining this thread because I'm also awaiting results from the Jersey City Campus and I'm super nervous! Anyone have any clue on when we should be hearing back? I called today and the lady that answered today said it will be a while, maybe in a month ..last time I tried calling which was 2 weeks ago, the guy that answered said it should have been 4-6 weeks from the February 28th date

Just got an email on Friday that my application had been accepted and was under review so hopefully a decision will come soon. Has anyone heard anything about the JC program?

I would say around Mid-Feb and everything was confirmed about 2 weeks ago?

I never received a confirmation email about the application, although the NursingCAS site confirms that my application was submitted and verified. Did everyone receive a confirmation email from NJCU?? I submitted my application a few days before the due date

I never received an email from NJCU either... only confirmation from NursingCAS that my application was submitted and everything was verified

I never received any type of email from NJCU either and I submitted my application on the 15th of February. Last Monday I emailed someone from the Nursing department asking if they received my application since I never received any type of email directly from the school. Though they didn't confirm that they received my application, they did mention that I should have received emails from NursingCAS relative to the items being received. Also, if there were any specific issues with the application then we will receive an email from a committee member in regards to that.

I'm hoping to receive something soon...it's definitely stressing me out.
