NJCU ABSN 2015

Published

The application for NJCU is open for both Wall and Jersey City! I thought I would make a thread for this years round of applicants. We can share our experience with NursingCAS and the HESI.

Hope y'all find this!

Thank you, Koala_rawrs for your help!!! I hope you get in :)

I submitted my application on nursingcas, but realized there was a glitch and my social security number never saved. I read that it is required- they ask a question in the last section of the application asking if we did indeed filled that in and I answered yes, because I did input it and saved it; at least I assumed it saved. :(

what can I do now? Is there someone I can contact to add my ssn? The app locks us out after submission and now I'm worried that they will turn my application away because I forgot to enter it.

LovingOnce -- I think you can try calling NursingCAS. Maybe they can add it in for you!

Less than a week (!!!) before the deadline! Good luck to us all :)

so i finally took the HESI today... I was looking at my scores now and I saw that on the elsevier site there's supposed to be a way to compare your scores with other people in the cohort. however, it asks for a cohort ID, and it's not the same as the dep't ID that we used to register. does anybody know the cohort ID for checking scores?

As of right now the average for all students applying to both JC and Wall is 82.6. That's the overall average score. When you log in to elseiver and see your score report, click on "view results" next to each category and it will show you the average score for each of the sections. This enables you to compare your results of each category to the average scores of the rest of the applicants!

Hope you did well!

You're welcome LovingOnce! I hope you get in too!!!

Submission was yesterday. I wish everyone the best of luck! Now I'm gonna be a wreck before I hear anything. Lol. Speaking of, does anyone know when they start sending acceptance letters? I'm guessing late March?

It has only been one day since the deadline and I can't deal with the waiting anymore!

Best of Luck to Everyone!!!

koala_rawrs , since the deadline for Wall was pushed back decisions should be expected by mid-March. I think it is safe to say JC applicants will receive decisions a few weeks after that

I'm with you koala_rawrs and johndabaker !

Thank goodness for work or I'd really be losing it. :roflmao:

Thank you for the information johndabaker!

@tinemarie - This is torture!

Hi all! I'm currently in the program and I remember how many questions I had when I was in your shoes! If anyone has questions I would be happy to answer them. Good luck to all of you!

Hi Rotko15 !
