  1. hey eris08! I vaguely remember someone asking that during orientation and unfortunately I do not believe so.. At orientation you'll fill out a financial aid form and you'll get to hear from a representative directly from NJCU's financial office -- it's a whole presentation. I know it is worrisome, but try to keep calm!! They'll be able to answer a lot of your questions in June!
  2. Definitely wait for orientation. They won't expect you to know what to do on your own...and for the Hep B vaccine, you can sign a waiver stating that you're in the process of completing the series. Unfortunately there's a lot more that's involved than just filling out the documents that are listed on the site. We had to set up a special account online where we are required to upload all of our important documents rather than send them to NJCU directly. If your orientation is in June (I think I remember someone saying that), you'll have PLENTY of time to do everything. I promise!
  3. **for the clothing order forms I meant!
  4. Just to let you guys know -- you need to get titers for all of the required vaccines as well (Varicella, MMR, Hep B, etc) and a TWO-step PPD. But they'll give you all that information at orientation :) Also -- they gave us information about a BLS course offered through them for about $65 I believe...it was April 30th. So I'm sure they'll have another session for JC as well!! Oh and if you're looking at the forms and documents on NJCU's site, we did not use those order forms, nor that company. Just a heads up!
  5. You'll get all the financial information at orientation along with your class schedule
  6. Congrats on your JC acceptance MurseM15 ! Wall orientation is this Thursday and I am so excited to meet everyone. We start classes on May 18th () -- it's really starting to sink in (and freak me out!)
  7. So happy for everyone who was accepted to both cohorts! I'm sure more people will be joining and posting over the next few days/weeks so congratulations to them as well! For those who were waitlisted or rejected -- Absolutely do not give up. I was waitlisted last year, gained some experience as a medical scribe, retook a class, improved my HESI score, and had my essay looked at by about 7 people before I submitted it. I wish everyone the best of the luck and encourage you to keep pursuing your dream!
  8. Congrats umbot and kmdudas !!!!!
  9. Hi LJ85 ! I'm not a nurse...(just got accepted to an ABSN program) but I have been working as a medical scribe at CSH Mountainside since June of last year in Primary Outpatient Pediatrics (Ambulatory Care Services). I absolutely love working here -- the entire staff is so friendly and it truly is a remarkable place to work. I am truly going to be upset when I leave in a few weeks. I'm not sure if I can answer specific nursing questions but if you have general questions about the hospital I can definitely try to give you some insight.
  10. deck8553 -- Welcome and congratulations!! Teacups! I tried to message you but your inbox was full This applies to the accepted Wall applicants (and I'm sure the JC accepted students as well once they get notified!!). The e-mail we received stated to fill out the Uniform forms (which were not included). I e-mailed the program assistant to inquire about it, and she told me not to worry because we'd be taking care of it at orientation! Very excited!
  11. Considering today is "the end of March", I'm hoping you JC applicants find out today!!
  12. Hi Lisalt23! I tried to respond to you but your message inbox is full! You can only have 100 messages total between inbox and outbox. I will try again.
  13. Congrats ToTheOcean63 and Welcome to AN!!! I, along with three or four others on the thread, were accepted to Wall as well! Can't wait to meet you at orientation!
  14. hey vp701! We got notified by email, didn't have to log on to NursingCAS at all.
  15. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for all you JC applicants!! As for my fellow Wall 2015 classmates, I cannot wait to meet you at orientation!!!
