Hi there! Just wanted to get in conctact with other applicants who are applying to the Scholar Practioner Program at Nipissing University.

We could use this thread to talk about different components of the application.

It's really not too difficult just try to stay calm :) I didn't find it too bad and 5 minutes was just enough time to answer the 3 questions

I believe they're not looking at your CASper before hand (it didn't say on their admission timeline that they would) but I'm not 100% sure. I'm so anxious now that it's end of February!

How did you find the CASper btw? I'm doing mine tomorrow.. tt seems OK but I heard you have to type really fast!

My CASper results were received 3 weeks after I wrote it.. so try not to worry! Also no question is a stupid question so don't think that they will be annoyed! I would say call and double check so that you can have a piece of mind! If your still not comfortable, I don't mind called for the group! Let me know :)

Nope, I haven't received it yet. This is so stressful! I applied to UofT and Trent as well. If I get into either one Ill be happy, but Nipissing is still my first choice.

For sure! Im sure you will! When do those Unis send out acceptances or do they have an interview step as well? Im thinking that the interview invites will come within the last few days of Feb or even first few days of March. :)

I called Nipissing this morning and they said everyone who submitted all their documents on time (and meets minimum requirements), will get an interview. I didn't realize they interviewed so many people! Thought they would have had some sort of 'elimination' process before the interview part.

Also confirmed that CASPer results don't need to be in yet, in order to get an interview. I asked if 'end of February' for interviews was the right time she said thats the right "time frame" so kinda sounds like it could be before then or after!

I got an interview too for March 12! Guess I better book my flight soon! I'm not sure what the minimum requirements for the reference letter/supplementary were though?
