Nipissing SPP 2021 Applicants

In the spirit of the last two years applicant posts (which I found super helpful):

Hello all! I’ve applied to Nipissing's Scholar Practitioner Program for Fall 2021. I’m super excited/anxious about it and would love to connect with other students who have applied. 

How’s everything been going through your application process?

They haven’t sent out acceptances yet but I heard they chose their applicants if that makes sense? Again that’s just what I’ve heard not 100% sure on how true it is

Since the supplementary form says offers will be sent out April 2021, then doesn't that also mean that it could be at the end of April as well :( Or did they specifically mention it being by April 2021 (like at the beginning).

OMG I thought about this too, but if they wait until late April that is just rude LOL. At this point all they have to do is rank everyones applications since theres no personal factors that need to be taken into consideration for the application.

This has felt like the longest waiting process ever.

I applied to UofT, Nipissing, and McMaster. I took the CASPer test in January and I'm currently taking AP BIOL 235 with Athabasca. 

I was just rereading last year's posts and I think results were sent out starting mid-March. I'm a bit nervous since I don't have the best GPA and I'm still taking AP with 2 jobs.

As a current SPP student, can confirm they have chosen their students, and are just waiting now. We have a few profs who are going on research sabbatical or going back to nursing bc of the pandemic. They are also always late to everything, so don't be surprised if you're waiting until like April 30.

Has anyone been accepted yet? It's literally the end of April and I haven't received an update! :(

Nothing yet here. Has to be this week. Not really understanding the delay since we didn’t have to submit any other documentation. Unless they’re understaffed and behind?

I feel we should hear back by end of this week or first week of May latest. Anything beyond that doesn’t make sense!

I read on another forum that "they’re continuing to update their web portal till the end of the April beginning of May and acceptances will start going out mid-May"

Did anyone receive an acceptance? Apparently they released offers today.

I received a conditional offer of admission on webadvisor this morning.  However, I haven't received an official letter yet. I will most likely be declining though. I feel like they haven't sent  them all out cause it seems like they're still updating the portal.

I got a conditional offer! ? I'm taking biol235 from Athabasca. I think the transcript deadline is end of June. 

I've also applied to McMaster and uoft.
