How is the retention as in are there a lot of people that drop out of the program, I wasn't able to find that information anywhere?
How are the courses, exams , and professors?
Hey - to answer this we can use sim lab as much as we want which has been good. The sim labs are actually good! The retention I can't speak to, no idea there. I found the exams to be fair and the professors are decent on average. I've had some good and some not so good. I also genuinely don't mean to discourage people if this is your shot at the degree and you want to pursue it. A BSN is a BSN and it'll get you places for sure. but I did wanna share some insights if you're stuck between this school and another cheaper one. I am actually from the west coast and moved here hoping to get NYC clinicals so that was a big drawback I guess. Otherwise it's definitely a better program than Mount St. Mary's or LIU. LOL I have heard those are really not good at retaining people. So yeah, hope that helps!
Y’all awaiting to be “chosen” to take out private loans to go to a #15 school with a second BSN and now with all this drama of 60+ mile radius clinical placement (after they acquired Langone in Brooklyn) NYU is a cash cow and taking every one to their bank. They need to change their whole structure. They suck dude. Hope Rory burns. Go somewhere else.

Are you okay?

See attached photos of a chat I had with my friend who is a current ABSN student at NYU!!

Another question I would like to add is how often are you able to use the simulation lab? The lack of clinical hours makes me question the amount of experience we will be receiving prior to graduation. The sim lab will be useful in this scenario
