I got an email yesterday from NYP/Columbia that I am selected as a "top candidate" and can skip the meet and greet and go to an interview with Nurse Leaders in June. Has anyone else received this now or in the past and could provide advice? I know the process is long being hired at such a premier hospital. Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight.
Thank you!
Yes, thank you! Did you guys graduate already? I don't graduate until August from an out of state school. It seems like I'm the only one who hasn't received a specific department for future consideration. I only have future consideration for the new grad event. Don't know what any of this means though
Also, I'm sure you all have been through past New Grad NYP threads (I've probably looked at all of them a few months ago) and I can't remember many posts about after the interviews. If anyone knows something helpful or knows someone who has been through the whole process and was hired/rejected, share some insight!

i applied to the new grad nurse event, but i am an internal applicant. i got an interview at Columbia for 2 of the specialities I was interested, Columbia is not the campus i work for. After my interview, I have not heard anything. When i looked at the status change, it says "Future Consideration" for both New grad Event as well as 1 of the specific departments I interviewed for (not the other), but I never got any e-mail. So i'm not sure what happens now! does that answer your question? sorry i'm so confused by all of this
