New York Presbyterian/Columbia (NYP Email) New Grad

I got an email yesterday from NYP/Columbia that I am selected as a "top candidate" and can skip the meet and greet and go to an interview with Nurse Leaders in June. Has anyone else received this now or in the past and could provide advice? I know the process is long being hired at such a premier hospital. Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight.

I'm class of December 2015 and I applied I still haven't heard anything back... I'm getting nervous! Has anyone been accepted?

So I checked my account today and it no longer says hiring event it changed to Med-surg nights application under review! Does anyone know what this means? I've never attended the hiring event or interview.

@rmariee and @nadia89 mine is the same- Med/Surg Nights application under review and I have not attended a hiring event or interview as well. Maybe we will get an email soon explaining?

Hi, I graduated last week and was unaware that NYP had new grad opportunities or that the deadline would have passed before our semester was over. Does anyone know if this was the last chance for a December 2015 grad to apply there? I've looked on their website but that information is now gone and replaced with experienced RN events. Thanks and congrats to those who were successful

I also applied for the Jan 2016 New Grad meet and greet. My status changed online to med/surg nights as well. Hopefully we'll hear back tomorrow. When I called last week, HR said to give them until the end of the week. It seems as if the people who were accepted have not heard back. I know someone else who applied but but received a notification of rejection last week. I've been sitting on pins and needles because I know NYP is such a great institution and super competitive.
