New York Presbyterian/Columbia (NYP Email) New Grad

I got an email yesterday from NYP/Columbia that I am selected as a "top candidate" and can skip the meet and greet and go to an interview with Nurse Leaders in June. Has anyone else received this now or in the past and could provide advice? I know the process is long being hired at such a premier hospital. Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight.

Hey guys I just had an interview yesterday. I met with the PCD and then 3 other nurses for a panel interview and was there for about 90 mins in total. I don't have any contacts at NYP and have never worked there. Just reached out to someone from HR and she got me an interview 2 days later! Hopefully it went well!! I refresh my email every 15 seconds.

Who was the HR who contacted you? What floor? Your scenario sounds identical to mines. I was contacted 2 business days later by phone call after 5pm from the HR representative that set it up.

Hey guys!

Congrats to those who received job offers! I am graduating in May 2016. It appears that I cannot apply for this New Grad rotation as they are looking for "spring 2015, fall 2015, and winter 2016". Did anyone else graduate in May and if so, did you try to apply for this rotation or did you have to wait an entire year?

You would have to wait until around March of next year to register for the next event. The Meet and Greet was around end of April and the interview was beginning of June. I was a May graduate and just got a job at NYP in September.
