New York Presbyterian/Columbia (NYP Email) New Grad

I got an email yesterday from NYP/Columbia that I am selected as a "top candidate" and can skip the meet and greet and go to an interview with Nurse Leaders in June. Has anyone else received this now or in the past and could provide advice? I know the process is long being hired at such a premier hospital. Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight.

hey all! I just wanted to update and let you know I was called last week and offered a position on one of the floors where I interviewed with the Patient Care Director! they originally wanted me to start in August but I live in MA and didn't have my NY license/need to move/etc so they were able to offer me a spot for the September orientation. I have never worked at NYP (I live in Boston, MA). Hope that helps you guys! Hopefully more people will be getting calls soon! :) and if anyone here needs a roomate/knows of anyone who may need a roommate please let me know!

Hey guys! I just received a call from NYP - I am going in for another interview, but not for one of the floors I had the June NYP Top Grad Interview with.. Interesting!

I am so happy for all of the people who have heard back from NYP and of course, so jealous! I just want a phone call for another opportunity to interview lol Fingers crossed they have more phone calls to make :)

For those of you who have heard from NYP, did you reach out to them a lot to get their attention, know someone, etc? any advice will help

I had called a few times and left messages, and emailed both managers to thank them but they never got back to me. I also emailed HR to see what was up about the wait list and they sent the same thing back to me basically about how they hire on a rolling employment basis. Congrats to everyone and good luck to everyone else!! I hope we are coworkers in the future!!

Mine now says "interview" for the floor I'm interviewing for, but the other positions stayed at "future consideration"
