Hey everyone,
I just found out this past week using quick results that I passed the NCLEX and I was wondering if anyone who recently passed in NY could mention how long it takes to get your license number posted online or if you get an email how long it would take to get? Thanks!

Hi there! I took my NCLEX back in early July and it took exactly two weeks for my number to get posted online. However, I've had some friends in June receive theirs in under two weeks as well. I think they're just processing a lot of licenses over these few months and so expect 2 weeks at most! hope this helps ?

Hello, I took my NCLEX on July 20, till now my license number does not show up when I check it out online, I did not get any letter from NYS ED too. I called the Licensed Profession , he told me I have to renewal my application to update my status to get my license number . And I have to fill out " F1 Form because for NCLEX application only valid in 5 years he said. I international nurse. I applied for NCLEX 2014, and took long time for me to pass my NCLEX Exam. when I read at NYS Nursing website , they did not mention about NCLEX application renewal,
"You DO NOT need to file another RN or LPN licensure application or pay additional fees to the New York State Education Department to retake the NCLEX" .
Please. I am really appreciate it if anybody can give me advice, solution. ?

Hello everyone!
Did any of you licensed in NY receive a NCLEX candidate report after the exam?? I'm having an issue with the NY BON. I passed the NCLEX about 8 months ago and never received an email with the official results, but I did get my license issued and received an envelope by mail with my certificate and license. The thing is, I'm a foregin educated nurse and I need my NCLEX candidate report with the official results for my visa screening process as the government requires for it, but I never received it and the NYBON said they do not send out report if you have passed the exam. Anyone have any clue on how can I solve this issue? I'm really desperate

Official results are only sent out to those who failed. if you need one since you passed you would have to request it and pay a $20 fee
when you pass the NCLEX you't don't get score report you have to request it and pay $20 fee online
so apparently NYS BON has begun sending out emails to graduates who have taken NCLEX, passed NCLEX and was already given license whose education is under review and have given them 2 options
1) surrender license in 14 days and leave nursing job effective immediately
or
2) have nursing school( whether for education to sit for NCLEX or other nursing school attended ie Bachelor's degree) also in 14 days

When does this debacle get reported to the DOE of Florida (people have been hurt emotionally, college fees financially, and their employment both positions and financially) . After the program was approved by the FBON, all concerns were the Florida DOE's concerns. and frankly should be disseminated into the newspapers/TV news/internet beyond AN. It should be attributed to those that structured this. I have posted about the low pass rates here for several years, was told by new or potential enrollees "I can teach myself; it's available;, I can't get into NY California schools.. " but dang everything I tried to complain about has (come true and come back to roost".)

Sorry I stated otherwise, and I apologize. You have been so helpful on this subject and I appreciate it as do many others, I glean.
The origins of this problem may or are now originating from one state..not NYS. Frankly, a questionable curriculum or no attendance to many graduates in another state would still exist.
