New York BON License Number

Hey everyone,

I just found out this past week using quick results that I passed the NCLEX and I was wondering if anyone who recently passed in NY could mention how long it takes to get your license number posted online or if you get an email how long it would take to get? Thanks!

but it seems like with NY, if you went to nursing school in FL they're reviewing it. On their website it says that they license accredited and approved schools, but the hold up is because they're reviewing those same schools.

I been waiting two months and my school isn't on the list.

OK as of 04 /2023 , new york will only accept accredited schools.

Yes correct but my school closed years ago and I applied to NY BON years prior to all of this mess.

I passed my NCLEX  in April. Graduated years ago due to my mom being ill I didn't have the time to study.

OK I understand,  Congratulations ?,  we need more nurses, I passed Nckex 8 years ago.ot doesn't make sense,  they give you ATT.

Thank you!! Exactly, I studied, sat for the NCLEX and passed. It's been years.... Now another brick wall. Haven't even celebrated because I am so confused on everything. I want to start working soon and have a job lined up. But this is taking forever.

I'm exactly in this same situation, I passed my exam under NY BON and my school is in Florida. Apparently they are investigating all schools in Florida not accredited, I just wish they let me know before taking the exam. I wouldn't have taken it with them, now I tried to tell them to transfer my test scores back to Florida but they won't. I'm just really frustrated
