New York BON License Number

Hey everyone,

I just found out this past week using quick results that I passed the NCLEX and I was wondering if anyone who recently passed in NY could mention how long it takes to get your license number posted online or if you get an email how long it would take to get? Thanks!

 because all of these schools except for 2 are from Florida the NYS BON( the ones who make the rules) have stated any present-day school not listed as accredited from this list ( https://mqa-internet.doh.state.fl.us/MQASearchServices/NursingPrograms)  is on hold.

any closed schools in Florida are on hold b/c we need to investigate why the school closed.

 

to be honest, calling 518-474-3817 ext 280 is for the processing unit all they are responsible for is the processing of documents, and are told what to do and say.

who you should be calling is the NYS Nursing Board the ones who are making these rules and decisions. maybe that would put a fire under people to move along with the process and decision-making.   Email: [email protected], Phone: 518-474-3817, Press 1 then ext. 120, Fax: 518-474-3706

I called this number and I was directed to the usual department that takes calls only on Tuesday and Thursdays. It's still the same thing over and over, they cannot release the license or transfer the scores until investigation is over. My only crime is going to an approved school and not an accredited school, I really don't know what to do anymore!
