New test plan nclex-rn takers where are you!!

Hello my fellow nclex takers,

I'm scared to fix a date for my re-test due to this new test plan, im using saunders 4th edition and i planned tesing by May, but would want some one who took nclex recently in April to share his/her experience.

I think this will help many of us who are anxious about this new plan.

This applies to those who have taken the test before and after April, pls tell the differences, hope the material we are using before the new changes are still valid.

welcome back !!, thanks for sharing, we keep on believing God.

I can now have the heart to fix my date hoping it sounds like the same nclex rn exam i use to take.

This time to practice more on management of care, may or may not see sound questions.

Hi! im so happy to pass the nclex for my third try.Im so thankful to God that my strategy works.I studied Mosby 19th edition i worked very hard on their questions and answers in the cd and i categorize evrything to know where my weaknesses are.For me Mosby is really good, very different from saunders.If you are used of brain twisting questions during your review, on the nclex exam evrything is so smooth and easy..Please dont forget to study the suffixes of the drugs and the airborne,droplet contact diseases..

had lots of SATA and prioritization questions, practice on that.,...focus on infection control (contact, droplet, airborne precaution) .... mostly i had my questions where about endocrine.....

yup. just took it on the 12th and these types were the overwhelming majority. I had only one math question, no audio questions, and no alternative formats. I unfortunately failed for the 2nd time but i definitely know which areas to focus on now. hope this helps.

I did indeed pass my second time!!!! :dncgbby:Oh BTW the pearson vue trick did work. I would have posted sooner but I think all the stress messed up my immune system and I ended up gttng really sick, but doing better now and wanted to let everyone know the outcome. I really think studying all of those questions and rationales helped to retain the information...Good Luck to everyone else taking this monster of an exam!!! DONT EVER GIVE UP!!!!! This site was so helpful to me!!! Thanks again for all the encouraging words it meant so much to me!!!
