Well, I would have a hard time sending her back to class. That would be mortifying. If she has a jacket maybe she can tie it around her waist (hide back of pants) like many of the younger kids do when they don't want to carry it around. I keep extra scrub pants/shirt here for my own use in case of being soiled by vomit/blood etc. I gave my scrub pants to a student last year because she did not have any clothes and had an accident of sorts.
i try to keep an assortment of clothes - basketball type shorts are great because they fit a wide array of kids. The problem is that clothes don't make it back to me. Those lent shorts rarely find their way back into my supply.
I preach to the girls over and over again about the usefulness of keeping a small grocery store bag with a change of undies, a few pads and a pair of sweats in the bottom of their locker. Some listen - most don't.
I went to Wally World and purchased several packs of panties of various sizes with my clinic budget. For clothing I put the word out to staff and parents that the clinic would be accepting gently used items. I emphasize the need for Tee shirts, athletic shorts and stretchy pants (yoga, sweat, etc) as these are easiest to fit. I rarely get clothing back (and I do not even ask for the panties) but everything is donated so no major loss.

So I know clothes are a hotly debated subject, but what would you do in this instance?
A female student bleed through her pants, we don't have anything in her size, her immediate family is out of town, and she's staying with a family friend. The family friend is not answering their phone/returning the phone call.
I need to have something better in place.
Thanks!
