Wow, I'm sorry! I can't believe that they told you that you made it and then changed it, now I'm worried. At least there is another year for someone to possibly drop out, don't give up hope! Keep me posted on any changes, I'll let you know if I hear anything about my process too, still haven't signed any paperwork myself, so anything could happen to me as well.

Do you guys know if you still get paid during the summer months if your school doesn't run summer classes?

We only get the stipend the months we are in school, nothing if there are no classes in the summer.

Spunky1, I talked with my recruiter today, just curious about your situation, and he said it was very likely that as a 1st alternate, that you'll get it. He said usually always someone fails a class or has life circumstances change and are unable to go in. There are 66 of us that have been selected that are graduating in 2012. They are now working on 2013 and filling up fast. But he said your chances are good, especially since those of us at the February boards haven't even signed paperwork yet, they could still back out until then. I'm pulling for you. Keep us posted here. I will let you know when I finally get to sign mine, he said it's looking like May/June also.

Sounds good. Thanks for checking it out! I'm not wishing anything bad on anyone, but I reeeeeaaalllly want to get in. Military nursing is all I've wanted since deciding to be a nurse. Until then I'll keep studying trying to keep my gpa high.

I've been kind of bummed for the past couple of days. You have definitely cheered me up!!!!!!!!

I too have been selected but won't get my paperwork until June! So frustrating...I want it in writing haha! I am glad that I am not the only one in this situation, it makes me feel better about is whole thing.

Also, @HMBaird, I am graduating Aug 2012 As well so it is very likely we will be in the same ODS class!

I too is in the NCP program..I graduate Dec 2011...ODS around Spring 2012...wish me luck and good luck to you..

I'm prior service AF in the NCP, graduating May 2012 and imagine i'll be going shortly thereafter - wouldn't mind finding others going around this time frame! Could meet up at the base and hang before everything starts.

By the way, is that true that they don't pay us in the summer? I was led to believe we were.
