NEW MEXICO NCLEX PASSER without SSN. HELP!!!

Published

Hi! How's everyone? Anyway, Iam a graduate in a university in the Philippines last 2010, I just took my NCLEX-NM and I passed. My license, I believe is active and will be expired in 3 years. I have a US Multiple VISA that is intended only for tours (sadly). Do you think I can find work in NM? I have relatives in California, and family friends in Maryland and Texas. Are there ways on how I can work as a RN? Thanks guys!!I really need your suggestions so badly!

Having a tourist visa will not make it any easier to find a employer willing to go the Immigrant/work permit route. H1b visa is a specialist visa so not sure what experience you have but you, in the current US job situation, will need to stand out if trying to find a employer willing to go the H1b route. Immigrant visa is affected by retrogression so the issue here is finding a employer willing to wait the 6+ years for you to get your visa and work.
