U.S.A. New Mexico

Published

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

You can't make use of compact as you have to reside in a state to use it. You can endorse license (if you received one as not all states will give one without SSN) as NCLEX results have reciprocity

does the nm bon sends the license card here in the philippines even if you dont have an ssn?

If the state issues a license then it will be sent to the address you have given, so if outside the US then they will send it outside the US. If you have to renew and you need CEU's then these can be done online and if you do a search of AN you should find plenty of threads on CEU's as there are many around especially in the General nursing forum

hi. does anybody know when the duration of the eligibility starts? is it from the time they receive your application or from the time they make you eligible? i sent my complete application april 2007. i received my eligibility through email from ms. vidaurri june 2007. i know that the eligibility is valid for a yr but when does it start? is my eligibility valid till april 2008 or june 2008? help! i've tried calling nm bon but it's always the answering machine which picks up. when you leave a message, it's full. they don't respond to emails, too. i've tried looking in their website, but i didn't get any info. i've tried searching threads but i saw conflicting statements. some say it is from the time you apply, others say it's from the time your eligibility is given. hope someone reliable could enlighten me. help pls!

as per NM bon eligibility starts from the date (month date) they received your application. so if you sent it - say, nov. 2008... since it's usually good for 1 year, it will be valid 'til nov. 30, 2009.

Hi. I would like to ask if i can send request for license verification through the internet? Fax? or Simply a Call request?

I'm need it for my visa screen.

Thanks in Advance..

please, i need your help.... i've read this forum, followed instructions, have been diligent with the application process. i am in trouble. i received my eligibility last feb 14, 2008. and from the posts here, and thru research on the net, i have gathered information that the eligibility is valid for one year from the date you have received it.

my problem is, i registered with pearson vue last nov 24, 2008 and have been waiting for my att. after a few days of not having received any feedback, i emailed sabrina vidaurri of nm bon, and she said that my eligibility has already expired!!!! what can i do about this? has any of you experienced the same thing? my friend and i are in the same situation and we feel trapped!!! it was an absolute blow! we've spent quite a sum of money... please, any advice will really help! thank you

(reference, page 96 post... hi mhaui. the validity of nm eligibility if one year from the time u received your eligibility. that was my question before and i emailed sabrina vidaurri and that was her reply. its better if u email her at [email protected]. don't forget to put your reference file number on the subject. hope this helps. goodluck.:nurse: )

Just received an update. This is the saddest news to date. My eligibility has indeed expired. PLEASE TAKE NOTE, if this in any way can help, THE VALIDITY OF THE ELIGIBILITY STARTS FROM THE DATE THE NM BON RECEIVED YOUR COMPLETE APPLICATION.

This is a painful experience for me. Very disappointing indeed.

I think all that you can do is apply again to the BON
