I had to delay my start date due to my surgery...start May 2...

can't wait...

any warnings for me? lol

how much homework?

is it as difficult as I heard?

I just had my first test and passed, but I so nervous. I could not think for about 5 minutes and blanked out.

Hi dmy, I am only in Pharmacology right now. We dont start Fundamentals until March. I got a 96% on my first 2 exams. I dont know what I got on the third yet and we have 2 more exams tommorow.

I think the test was pretty much what was covered on the powerpoint, but it is hard to explain the type of questions. It was all multiple choice. I usually encounter a couple of questions that I am not sure about. I am picking my best answer and then moving on, trying not to second guess myself and go back to erase answers.

I graduate in June!!! Sooo ready! I thought it was smoothe sailing until 3rd quarter and it's tough...soooo many meds to remember! Start early learning meds and brush up on A&P! Good luck everyone!!!

hey whats up future nurses and current one, and everyone else :).. Quick update on the whole LPN program.. started 2011 Jan 3, im in block one; and found the tests sorta-kinda easy(it may get harder as I go further into the course) but for right now its not so bad.. I met a whole bunch of cool people with strong personality.. Clinicals, whoo, the first day was tough and I thought "I can't do this, I can't do this," its been about a month and half now so apparently i can do it, lol.. My instructers are a bit prickly, but im sure they mean well and just want to help me; but when they started critizing me in font of a resident it sorta wears me down.. but on a happier note only 10 more months to go, so its not that bad.. at least thats what i tell myself when im feeling down.. graduate in dec. by the way, just before the break.. wish me luck.. peace :)..

How long will it take to finish the lpn program and bridge into the RN program. What classes will you have to take when you bridge to the RN program?

I got my acceptance letter on Saturday, March 26th and I start the LPN class on May 2, 2011 at Tennessee Techonology Center-Nashville Campus. Good luck to everyone!

K i need some input on this one. I past my entrance exam for the LPN program but havent had a interview yet. I now have a financial aide appointment on March 31st but again havent had a interview. Should i be worried that im not in? I'm a bit nervous

Don't be worried you are just getting all things squared away ahead of time which is ok. I would assume you are in until you find out otherwise. It's possible that they have not started the process for interviews yet. Good luck keep us posted.
