New Jersey City University (NJCU) ABSN 2022

Hello everyone,

I am applying to the NJCU ABSN 2022 cohort, preferably at their location in Wall Township, NJ. I am hoping to hear from a current or former student in this program to see how competitive my GPA and HESI score need to be for a good shot at getting accepted. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hiya! Not yet, but there’s a zoom meeting on 6/16 about financial aid. I also received my award for 2022-2023 so I will wait until the meeting to find out more info.

I wish it was sooner. I am unsure if there is any financial help since this is a second degree program.

I wish everything about this process was sooner, LOL! But yes, I spoke to someone in financial aid back in April and they agreed that because it's a second undergrad degree, there's not much option other than either paying out of pocket or private loans.

Is anyone’s application still showing verified on nursing cas? I am worried this is taking so long. I applied prior to the original deadline.

Wait really?! I’m so confused about the financial aid reward I received? It shows a specific amount on gothicnet ? Did you apply for financial aid as well?

Yes, my application on nursing cas says verified but I received an email on my acceptance. Try reaching out to Samantha Younker for an update on the status of your application.

Oh I applied as a formality LOL, but I am pretty sure I will not receive anything. That may be specific to me though ?

Same thing here, checking my emails even on weekends. lolz.If u don't mind me asking,  How was your GPA and HESI score? I really have a bad GPA, though it says they do accept 3.0 or lower, I dnt really wnt to get my hopes up):::
