New Jersey City University (NJCU) ABSN 2022

Hello everyone,

I am applying to the NJCU ABSN 2022 cohort, preferably at their location in Wall Township, NJ. I am hoping to hear from a current or former student in this program to see how competitive my GPA and HESI score need to be for a good shot at getting accepted. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know if you can work while in the program? I know it is not advisable, but I'm worried about living expenses.

Goodmorning everyone, 
For those who got their decisions, do you guys make a followup via email or a call? Do you know, by any chance if they do send an email if you got rejected or they send it via hardcopy mail. thankyou

When you get your acceptance, its via email and they tell you to fill out an admissions acceptance form and email it back. About a day or so after that, you receive more instructions on how and when to pay your tuition deposit.

Nah, still no response. I called around the 7th and was told it would be 2 weeks from then. I said I applied prior to the initial deadline, she said decisions are taking longer due to the new extended deadline. I’m just being very patient. How about you?

I still haven't heard anything but I've submitted my application jz last month and anxiety is thru the roof ryt now. Waiting sucks but patience is the key):

You really have a good stats and HESI score. I am wondering now if your application was succesfully submitted or something since u've applied prior to the deadline. Would u mind me asking if you've repeated any of the pre reqs. Thanks

Nope, no repeated pre-requisite courses. I thought I’d def hear by now especially since my bachelors is from NJCU and my letter of recommendation is from my professor there too. But, hopefully we both get in ?
