New Jersey City University (NJCU) ABSN 2022

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone,

I am applying to the NJCU ABSN 2022 cohort, preferably at their location in Wall Township, NJ. I am hoping to hear from a current or former student in this program to see how competitive my GPA and HESI score need to be for a good shot at getting accepted. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Im really hoping for a positive result and  praying for it day and night;) thanks and Goodluck for the both of us;)

@mci

I finally received an email from NJCU… (attached). It says my application is ineligible for review for developmental psychology and statistics being over 10 years old. The psychology I took the clep course for back in January and statistics I took in 2010, but would’ve retaken it if I was told back when I submitted my application in early February. Hope that at least you received some good news. ?

Hi Veralda, you make a good point about sacrifices, which has been on my mind recently. Based on your experience in the program, would you say attending a wedding in Europe for 1-2 weeks doable? This might be a silly question since this program is fast tracked but I have two major weddings while I’m in the program and 1 is overseas, so I just wanted to know if someone could make it work. TIA!

I would let the professor know early so accommodations can be made for you . I can imagine that you will have some studying to do while away . You don’t want to kiss clinicals especially but talk to your professors to see what can be done

Does anyone know where to find the name of the textbooks for the first semester specifically for pathophysiology, planning to get secondhand textbooks? thank you

Thank you for your response! I also wanted to ask you, our cohort received our handbook for our orientation being held this Friday. I was curious as to when you started doing your castlebranch requirements (immunizations, CPR, physical)? I'm scared July and August isn't enough time but I am prob. psychin' myself out LOL

@mci

yay- CONGRATULATIONS!

also, where did you take your statistics class, as I’ll need to re-do this one?

Thank you! this was my 3rd time applying… so not sure what happened the last 2 years LOL but glad I got some response.

Hi! As of yet, there was no group started, but I can organize it if everyone tells me sends me their email and I'll start it on facebook. Add it here or send me a private message.
