New Jersey City University (NJCU) ABSN 2022

Hello everyone,

I am applying to the NJCU ABSN 2022 cohort, preferably at their location in Wall Township, NJ. I am hoping to hear from a current or former student in this program to see how competitive my GPA and HESI score need to be for a good shot at getting accepted. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I got an email saying in 2 weeks from the date of the email which was sent to me from NursingCas on 3/17, so that’s the end of this month. I also got a call from NJCU and the lady told me either this week or the next, so just continue to wait ?

They will take more about it at orientation but you’ll need titers of hep b, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox) , TB , tetorifice , and covid vaccine plus booster. You will need a physical examination from your doctor . They will provide you with the forms at orientation . Once you switch to the new insurance you can upload that info . I got all my titers and started hep A and B vaccines. Can you think of any other blood work I may need. Do I need to test for Hep C or HIV? I thought some clinicals require that? Thank you for the info too!

Does anyone know when the titers/ vaccinations if we are not immune are due by?

Thank you! I have a question..after looking at the acceptance package, it shows 3 semesters? I’m so confused, how long is this program? 21-22 credits into one semester? Dannnng LOL
