Hello everyone,
I am applying to the NJCU ABSN 2022 cohort, preferably at their location in Wall Township, NJ. I am hoping to hear from a current or former student in this program to see how competitive my GPA and HESI score need to be for a good shot at getting accepted. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! im currently in the JC cohort. For clinical, the first semester you will have fundamentals clinical beginning in the middle of the semester. one day a week 7-3. The second semester you will have Maternity, adult health, and pediatrics clinicals. We have adult health clinical on Thursday 7-3. Peds and OB are 6 weeks each so OB we just completed before Spring break. my group had clinical on satudays 7-3. Some had sundays 7-3 or3-11. We start peds after break on sundays 7-3. And the last semester we have adult health 2 clinicals, psych and community health clinicals.
Hi I was recently accepted to this program for the upcoming Summer cohort. Can someone let me know how the clinical compliance works? They have not given me any information on it yet and Im in the middle of switching insurances cause Im leaving my job so trying to get as much done as I can before I have to switch to new health insurance company. I know you have to show vaccines but which ones. What other blood test if any like hep C? Physical? anything anyone can think of? Thanks

They will take more about it at orientation but you’ll need titers of hep b, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox) , TB , tetorifice , and covid vaccine plus booster. You will need a physical examination from your doctor . They will provide you with the forms at orientation . Once you switch to the new insurance you can upload that info . The school also offers insurance . You will also need Liability Insurance for clinicals . I think it was $50 for the whole year . Also CPR
