New Jersey City University (NJCU) ABSN 2022

Hello everyone,

I am applying to the NJCU ABSN 2022 cohort, preferably at their location in Wall Township, NJ. I am hoping to hear from a current or former student in this program to see how competitive my GPA and HESI score need to be for a good shot at getting accepted. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Great! Then I'll just keep waiting until I'll get my student ID..just cutting a bit close since it's due soon. Was there anything else needed to be done after submitting deposit like register classes or does that come way later?

No not yet, but I reached out to the office to see if I can start working on any of the other paperwork or the CPR cert before the June orientation. I'm going to call tmrw to ask about financial options, too. June seems long to wait to get answers but I think we'll be able to register soon.

Hey how did you guys sign on the acceptance form. I am having a hard time.

Right, glad I wasn't the only thinking the same thing. I want to get things done starting now and not stressing over the Summer scheduling CPR/vaccines/physicals. If you find anything out please let me know!

It is apart of the Admitted Student Guide package (at the end of it). I printed that page out, filled it out, scanned it on my printer, and then sent it as a PDF back to Samantha.

When I received my acceptance email, there was the student guide and also the acceptance form by itself. The form by itself is fillable and I think you can add a signature in Adobe. But if I couldn't I would've printed it out and signed it and then scanned it back to them.

Hey guys, so I was informed by Nursing Dept that we can go ahead and get started on our health screenings, vaccines, etc, as well as getting your CPR certification if you don't already have it. You can get everything done yet, since some stuff has to be done within 3 months of our program start date.

BTW Is anyone familiar with Rapid CPR or MRCPRNJ for CPR certification? Where have you received your certification from?

Thanks for the update! I have yet to submit my deposit so I am slacking ? By any chance, would you happen know the list of immunizations we need?

Hey! MMR, Varicella & Hep B - you can have titers done if you don't have your immunization records. You also need your COVID-19 vaccine and a booster as well as a flu shot I believe.

Hey all!  I submitted my deposit for the jersey city location this week too! Excited to get started.  Has anyone started a facebook group or something for accepted students?

Hey! I’m excited to meet everyone! I don’t think their is a FB page group for our cohort yet. I don’t know how to start one but we should have one LOL ?
