New Jersey City University (NJCU) Accelerated Nursing 2019

Hi all!

I know it may be a bit early but I like to always get the ball rolling. Is there anyone that is looking to apply to the 2019-2020 accelerated nursing cohort at NJCU?? I'm looking to connect so we can keep each other updated throughout the process.

I still haven’t received an email. I was trying to stay calm, but getting a little nervous now.

We’ll probably all be hearing back within a day or so of each other. So once someone posts here that they’ve heard a response, then we can probably assume we’ll each know soon.

I’m trying not to think about it, myself :p

Yeah im curious about this... the people who got emails after submitting their apps stating they would hear back in 4 to 6 weeks did you guys go to information sessions like is this email coming from nursing cas or NJCU themselves. Like they obviously sent that email out to a mailing list and I’m wondering why some of us arent on that?

Yes, I agree that’s why I’m stressed! When I called she just said to wait 4-6 weeks for the decision. I tried to see if they were reviewing my application or not but all she said was that if I submitted and completed everything then I should be fine. I don’t know I don’t quite trust nursing cas and I don’t like not knowing why I haven’t gotten any email cause it makes me feel like my application is not valid or incorrect even though it was verified and submitted before the deadline. It really is increasing my stress and anxiety cause it’s like sort of not fair people are getting confirmation while others aren’t but I just wish for the best

Hi everyone, I just received an email from NJCU informing that there will be an admission decision delay due to the high volume of applicants.

Guys...so I just got an email from NJCU. It says “Due to the high volume of applications received for the Jersey City campus, there has been an unexpected delay with finalizing the admission decisions. An approximate date decisions will be finalized is April 15, 2019.”

And then it said to refrain from calling or emailing the office because it’s very busy.

I read somewhere in this thread they were expecting 1500 applications. Is that really true?

Same on the email. I kinda expected there would be a delay, based off the previous threads on their admissions process. *sigh* more waiting.

Hi I haven't received any emails from them, I'm getting worried if there is perhaps something wrong\missing with my application. anyone else in same boat as me? thanks.

Check Junk cause I was freaking out and some emails were chilling in my Junk mail

I didn’t even finish the NJCU application because I’m going to another school and I received the email lol
