I think it depends on the course. A class like that shouldn't matter too much if it's online, but stuff like your A&P and chem require a lab portion (which I would assume your did). None of the programs I applied for (or was accepted to) said anything about online classes one way or another.
Is there a particular reason why you didn't want to follow through with pharmacy?
Btw, I graduated from UMDNJ's (now Rutger's) Accelerated BSN program in 2012. I printed out all the prerequisites required for each of the colleges and chose the one with the least amount of prereqs, which was UMDNJ/Rutgers.
My dad really wanted me to do pharmacy. I've been working at Walgreens for 6 years not and it's just not something i see myself doing forever. I love helping people and think that Nursing would be something that i would enjoy.
And i plan on doing that looking at all the colleges that have the least pre-reqs i only have to take i think two or three more classes nutrition and developmental psych- lifespan and medical ethics so im planning on taking them all in the spring semester.
Thanks i am going to look into the Rutgers Accelerated BSN. Do you mind me asking what your gpa was when you applied?

Hi all,
I am brand new to the idea of nursing. Was a pre-pharmacy student but just did not want to follow through with it. Anyhow i have taken Anatomy 1 & 2, Microbiology, Chem 1&2 currently retaking orgo and taking physics right now. I was wondering does it matter if pre-req classes are taken online? I wanted to take Nutrition and a Develop psych class online next semester. I looked at most of the school websites in NJ and none of them mention that online pre-reqs are not valid. And also i am having a hard time finding a school that teaches a medical ethics class in NJ. please let me know if anyone knows any. Thanks.
