Apply for NY and PA license. it will improve your chances of finding a job.

@ivory Im sorry got sick I can send u a resume example this wknd!

@ivoryRN Im also currently waiting for my NJ license # and submitted my application at the end of December. How long did you wait until you went to the department to ask for you license #? and where can is their office located?

@snm568 - I applied for reciprocity in November/December. The part that took me the longest was waiting for my fingerprint card in the mail, then the fingerprinting place near me was booked for 1.5 weeks. From the time I submitted all my materials, I got my nj license in a little under 3 weeks. Persistence and friendliness is key! I called about twice a week nicely asking about the status of my application. Think they just got tired of me calling haha.

Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia is accepting new grads with BSN.

@Brown-Hughes Do you have any idea what they're looking for? I've applied with a bsn to several positions at Einstein, including the positions titled NEW GRADS WELCOME. No luck.

PCU - new grads and SSU. There have been several positions posted in SSU.

@Brown-Hughes RN - thanks for your response. I've applied to a few SSU and PCU at einstein, but will look again and apply some more.

@norynne328 Please reapply. They've recently posted a few positions in SSU. I noticed some of the older positions were cancelled.

Hi, you can gain experience through private institutions. There are organizations that welcome and accept new nurses, nursing graduates and even nursing students for either work or training/OJT.
