This just made me feel depressed
i graduate in may and I have the worst anxiety about finding a job...its scary to me....
but it was pretty funny haha and very true. my mom (and everyone) is always like "you can live anywhere!!!" "your going to make SOOOO much money"... well, I hope so

Thank you for that. I know I'm a CNA and not a nurse, but that conversation felt very familiar.

haha this is actually very sad, but still funny (if i dont laugh, i'll cry ). at least now i know im not the only one who feels like a broken record trying to explain "the nursing shortage". thanks for this post!

Seriously liked that! I have probably 50 applications open right now... no reply.. $32,000 student loans coming at me like a ton of bricks. NO NEW GRADS (this is what I keep seeing on job descriptions). I am SICK to death of hearing nursing shortage. If some of these hospitals would kindly remove their heads from their rear-ends and train us "new grad" nurses, then I wouldn't feel the need to punch someone in the throat every time I hear NURSING SHORTAGE!

Ugh, how many times have I heard that one. It's MY negative attitude that's keeping me from getting a job.
