Published

Can someone tell me what new grad RN salaries are in the hospitals? Thanks in advance.:nurse:

Sorry, don't know about chapel hill or triangle area.

Hi Queen City Nurse,

I'm not sure why I still can not send private messages, with that being said please send me an e-mail through my profile page. Hopefully if you are able to get this I can ask you some of the detailed questions I really need help with.

Thanks so much for your helpful information

I am a new grad at duke and they start new grads at 20.32 hr with shift differentials of 4.50 for evenings and 8.00 for weekends. also if you are coming from another state, they will pay you 3,000.00 relocation, and they will also pay 5,000.00 a year for two years to pay toward any student loans you may have.

Specializes in Operating Room.

I get 24/hr plus another 5.50 for the 11-7 shift. i have less than a years experience but this is in florida. and if you want to continue education the hospital pays 100% of school costs. also, their currently offering $7500 signing bonuses to nurses with at least 2 years experience.

Hello,

Choosier2003

Can you share any information about the health and dental benefits at Duke, also how long have you been there and how are things going?

Thanks

Try dukenursing.org it should list's all of there benefets, or they will send to you at request. Great company, I worked for them a few years ago in a different capacity.

I live in MI and as a graduate nurse am starting out at $25.50/hr plus an additional 8% shift differential for working midnights. I know there is also a shift differential for weekends, but I'm not sure what it is...
