Hi guys!
I was wondering if anybody had plans on applying to new grad residencies here in Georgia for the summer/fall of 2016. I graduate in May 2016, so I have now started looking for residencies to apply to. I have created a long list of hospitals that I am interested in. Anybody else considering applying? If so, what hospitals? Maybe we can keep each other updated throughout the process.
Wellstar has been up for awhile. Just search residency in the job listings
Oh ok! Thanks! I see it. I did not realize that was for the fall residency. Did you apply? Most likely I will apply on Monday because I need one more letter of recommendation. Do you know if those have to be turned in with the application, or do you just send it in later?
Where all have you guys applied so far?
I have only applied to Piedmont. I will only have an ADN so cannot apply to Emory or Eastside. I would be relocating from NC and would want to live in the midtown area (lived there for a number of years before going to NC) so have not applied to GMC. Depending on when apps open I think I will also apply to Northside.
So far I have applied to Wellstar, Piedmont, Emory, CHOA, Gwinnett and Dekalb.I have received interviews at Wellstar and Piedmont so far.
I REALLY want to work at Piedmont, so hopefully they will call soon!
Congrats on the interviews.
When did you submit the Piedmont app? Did they get back to you pretty quick?

I have applied to all of the same ones, plus Eastside Medical Center. When did you apply to Gwinnett? I applied there but haven't heard anything from them yet. I did, however, get an invite to DeKalb's open house/interview session. I really want to work at Piedmont as well.
I also sent you a PM regarding WellStar. I'm not sure if you received it or not.

When did Wellstar put up the applications and where did you find it? I don't see it anywhere. And is it for Fall 2016?
