Sorry, I just saw this now. I was asked to come to Florida, Texas, and Louisianna. The Florida people said the position they had was filled but they other places in Georgia. I also got an email from a place in Oklahoma. Keep in mind everything except the Oklahoma one was from agencies that would place me in a hospital so there may be some places in Florida still available if you contact the hospitals directly. From what I have been hearing now it seems like Arizona might also be a place to check out if you are looking into moving. Mostly, the jobs are south and west of NJ. My advice is still if you are able to move then you should go for at least a year. If you are able to do an externship then do one.

I have a question regarding externships.. I am in California and have been accepted at 2 ABSN programs here and accepted at one in Omaha. I am on an alt list for Arizona that I really want. It is paid for and you work for a hospital for 3 years.. My question the accelerated programs are in one year.. How do externships work?
thanks

Is there a listing anywhere on Princeton's site for their new grad program? I'm not sure if there isn't or I'm just missing it. Thanks!

Princeton had a listing up in March-ish, but I got an email from the nurse recruiter saying that they are NOT having their new grad program in August this year. She just said to "keep an eye out" in case a random position comes up. That's pretty much what all the recruiters are saying, but since I still don't have a job, nothing has come up yet! All listings want experience.
I graduated in December, passed NCLEX in February, have applied to over 100 jobs...still job-less!
hi...i met a nurse who works at kessler in chester and she said that they hire new grads per diem.....good luck i am praying for everybody...how about the new grad program at valley hospital in bergen county ...it starts in august...i have 2 friends in it now and they are making big $s...i start my job in may at newton memorial and know how lucky i am....apply for any position even if it says 1-2 years experience...even though they don't have a new grad program...you do get precepted for 2-3 months....keep the faith...i am pulling for all of you
