Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

after all this time, i haven't passed my application. i printed it out, answered it, did my cv and that was it. had too many things to do these past couple of months. i almost forgot my username here and had to try a few to post again hihihi
congrats to everyone that has made it through. my new year's resolution is to stick to my plan of going there. good luck to everyone else :)

happy new year everyone and may all of us achieve our goals and keep supporting each other!
(below is just a general comment, not directed to you personally.. peace...>:-) )have to read and analyze the information on a proper context.. example.. only 220 of 800 were hired by queensland health, well, is queensland health the only employer in queensland? are those 800 applicants artistic that they do not want to apply in aged care? ...those who were not hired, did they apply for jobs in the rural area in remote islands in queensland?? somethings have to clarified..
hey cioman!
welcome back!:yeah:nice to hear good news from you!
congratulations on ur achievements!
i love ur posts:p
ARNTP SOUTH AUSTRALIA...... this is new information particularly that quote in the website that ARNTP graduates are eligible for registration at NMBA.. meaning, you can enrol with ARNTP without yet your eligibilty letter from ahpra.. i hope somebody will share something about this or will do further research, or better yet inquire/email them to clarify this... sorry, im busy now to research on this..or can anyone email/inquire ahpra like this: You AHPRA, if a school will accept me for BP without your AHPRA eligibility letter, and after finishing that BP, will you AHPRA grant me license (of course on the assumption that i will file and submit all other documentary requirements? You Ahpra, is it okey for us to take BP prior applying with your office? or it is really a requirment for us to take BP after you give letter of eligibility...
Hey Cioman!
Yup, I emailed them right after I posted my inquiry here if anyone tried ARNTP. They have not responded though:confused: Ill probably try calling them.
