Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

You need to resit IELTS. Read this link. http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/changes-eng-req.htmHello! I already have my AHPRA eligibility letter but my IELTS is expiring on the first week of August. I will be having my bridge course also on the said month. Do I need to re-sit for IELTS? Please help! By the way, my AHPRA eligibility letter is also expiring next month but I already wrote AHPRA regarding such matter and they told me that it can be extended as long as I can present them a confirmed enrollment in a bridge course before it expires. I only thought of my IELTS just now so maybe someone has an immediate answer to my question above. :)
I just had my interview in IHNA, I have been given an offer letter. Can you please help me on how to start my application for the enrolment? Do I need to apply for the online learning as a introduction for the bridging program for registered nurses? How much did you pay and how it is done?thanx

congratulations! which intake did you apply for? they should send you instructions on how to go about the enrolment. anyway look for the OFFER ACCEPTANCE among the attachments. sign it then send it back to the school. the school will also send you 2 invoices: one for the introduction to rn bridging program which is the online course (AUD500) and the bridging course itself (AUD11,000). the enrolment fee of AUD1000 is already included in the 11K. i paid through credit card so i used their website. upon payment a receipt will be sent to your email which you will also forward to the school. enrolment to the online course is a requirement and you have to finish it before the bridging program starts. go to Nursing Management Courses, Nursing Training Courses, Nursing Courses Australia :: IHNA to enroll. they will generate an account so that you can access the e-course. also, check if the school has sent you the vaccine declaration form. unfortunately for me i realized the school forgot to send me one 2 weeks after i got the offer letter!
