Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone could help me out.
Do you remember the name of one of the forumers here who posted that he/she was not required to undergo a BP because of his/her experience from the US? I believe AHPRA asked him/her to submit documents that they usually don't require of us. His/her application was delayed due to this but nonetheless, he was not required to undergo the BP.
Thanks!
PS
If you're that guy o gal, hi! :) I would just like to ask you something. Thanks! :)
Thanks for replying Bobby123 :)
Anyway I think I will ask my family to help me with the tuition so I will just focus on finding a BP program that is open
More importantly, guys in the AHPRA website IHNA's Accreditation is approved only until July 1, 2012.
Would that be a problem if you enroll after July 2012 ?? Guys pls check the approved programs od study in the AHPRA website.
Can anyone help me find a BP who is still open anytime this year who is still accredited with AHPRA.
I really need to enroll ASAP please text me at +639228698826 if you can help.
First off, I'd like to thank the moderators/admin for this very helpful site, and for being wonderfully kind as to answer the numerous queries from all of us who are itching to land a job in Australia. I know the questions have been repetitive at times, and I kind of got lost myself, it's such a long loooong thread, but I am hoping you could bear with me. Where could I have the IELTS TRF mailed to, as well as my other documents? The AHPRA website lists several addresses and I'm confused, and at what specific department, if there is, should I address it? Or shall I just address it to "AHPRA" and type in a postal code? Also, would there be a kind of problem if the IELTS scores or PRC certificate reach AHPRA before all the other documents? I am working in another country and my sister in the Philippines would be mailing most of the documents while the I'll be mailing the IELTS from the country where I took the exam. I know I should be able to find the answer myself, but I guess I'm just a bit swamped and confused with a lot of information. I'm just starting out the application process on my own (not through any agency) and any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks mucho!
PS: Hope someone could give me a definite answer. I'm hoping to have everything mailed within the first weeks of May. Thanks again.
someone is really trying to discourage all of us to apply in OZ. yeah yeah... thats the real picture of the job situation in Australia right now but c'mon.. it cant be that worse. i mean, to be able to achieve your dreams you have to take risk.. almost all who went abroad who find jobs take risk. you are not helping man..
