Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi guys, I submitted my docs August 2011 to make my story short I received email for final approval Feb. 07. I made an online inquiry yesterday & got a reply today with the same last email that i got. running to 7 mos. in 2 weeks time. I've conditioned my mind for a long haul i've come this far & there's no turning back. cheer up everyone our time will come. Just keep on praying.

is this WA?? gosh!!! thats a long waiting time mate. If thats the case across all i would just transfer it to SA asap.. anymore like angels love here?? i cant wait that long.. gosh!!! and feb 7 is your final approval date?

hi ANGELSLOVE You haven't receive your LOE yet .. OH NO I hope you will receive it soon. Addyhottie told us that she got her LOE 6 weeks after the final approval mail. So I am expecting that you will receive yours by March 21 . . .

HUHUHU . . .I'm having a dilemma about transferring my application to SA. . . I will call AHPRA tomorrow. . . I am really impatient about this . .

problem in here was if we transfer the docs.. hopefully SA isnt the same situation as WA. i mean maybe right now many papers are on their way to that state..

Hi LADYDEE, I hope in few days time I will have my LOE aswell. I will keep you posted if ever I got mine. expect the worst but hope for the best.
@ Mr E-nigma yeah right . .and then we will be counting back to zero. . . I will call AHPRA-WA tomorrow. I will let you know if they are consistent with their answers. They told me last week (MARCH 6) that in a couple of weeks they will get in touch with me about the outcome of the assessment.
