Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hello. To those who got their AHPRA Letter of eligibility, Was it sent to you through email only or they also sent you the hard copy? Please reply asap.

Here is the link on how you will certify your documents Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Certifying Documents ,

and this is the certification that I had in my documents . .

"CERTIFIED TRUE COPY" with date

"This is to certify that the undersigned Notary Public has examined the document and has verified that it is a true and faithful reproduction of the original document"

NAME AND SIGNATURE OF NOTARY PUBLIC

Thanks for the response. I called AHPRA today and they said that the contact number of the notary public was not included in my papers.

I'm gonna talk to the notary public later.

I'm getting really frustrated, hoping that this is going to be a smooth sail.

I got an email from AHPRA saying they will send me an email that I am already eligibile shortly. Is the Letter Of Eligibility only through email?

Guyz, good news. A registration officer from WA replied to my queries and she said that she is currently processing applications dated September 29 so my application that they received last October 7 will be processed by the end of this week or early next week. Fingers crossed that every thing will go smoothly with my papers since my IELTS exam will expire by March...God bless everyone :)

I also called AHPRA WA and they told me I am already eligible and that I should just wait for the Letter Of Eligibility through email shortly. Is it only sent through email? Does anybody know here?

a friend of mine got hers through email, and later a hard copy was sent! congratulations!

Mine was received in WA november 1. But it was originally from AHPRA VIC last July 2011. I just transferred it to WA.
