New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

World Registration

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

hi kringkring! did you send your application to ahpra wa too?
Hello markchester,

If I read it right, I would suggest you go to the Australian consulate and ask them the accredited Arabic translator as well as their list of lawyers who are legit to notarize all your documents. I think Khobar has an Australian consulate. Try to check.

hi there cranberry juice!i just want to ask,do we need to get the certificate of good standing from the saudi health specialties?i really dont know how to,am I gonna do it by myself or the HR personnel of my hospital?and also, are we going to get a police clearance from the area where we work?wheewwww..alot of paperwork,my husband and i are just keeping our hopes high, that after all of this, there is something good in store for all of us!

Hi angelslove!I haven't received my loe yet. My case officer emailed me that they have a large volume of documents for final approval and it would be a lengthy process. I hope we could get our LOE soon. God bless you too!

I passed my interview with IHNA.! :) Thank you Lord.. was interviewed monday last week and got an email wednesday saying they'll send my letter of offer soon.. :thankya:

Yes you will be notified. in my case they got hold of my application August 26 & immediately requested for add'l doc w/c is the course outline but specifying not the course syllabus w/c is very clear to me & i complied. I only got my case officer last week of November that's when my dilemma begun in the sense that it will take another time effort & money to request, courier etc.. maybe your situation differs from mine. below is the email from my case officer.

Course Syllabus - We need breakdown of subjects for theory as well as clinical in clock hours. Also be advised that core subjects should be covered in transcripts examples Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, microbiology, Paediatrics and aged care etc. In this regard make arrangements with school of nursing to send that information directly to us or you can submit us certified copies of them. (Even though we have received course outline however we still need this course syllabus - displaying breakdown of subjects in theory and clinical in clock hours)

Hope this helps.:D

Hi,

I already sent along with my application my course description and syllabus because that was what my consultancy agency told me to do. thank you, goodluck with your application....i've been waiting more than 3 months already, still no good news email from ahpra :c

hi ladydee-rn,

You emailed Ms. **. too? is she a case officer? because under her name it says,

" Registration, Communication and Client support officer" I thought she was liaison officer? im not sure but I'll email her again next week, one month after my last email to her. I'll just ask her if somebody is already assessing my documents, hope i could get a specific response this time.
