Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

So sorry for the confusion...by offer letter, i mean the eligibility letter. Wrong word used. So, after receiving the LOE, I applied for LTU and WLI. I got the offer letter from LTU for this May intake, then I applied for student visa and got approved after 2 weeks.I see that there's several of us who'll be going to LTU. Do you guys like to form a group on FB or something for easy communication and sharing of updates? :)

I didn't apply via online. I sent my documents directly to the embassy instead. The funny thing though, was that I already did my medical exam last October 2011 before submitting my visa application late December. So, I was really worried that the embassy would make me undergo again another medical exam...Hahahaha... Good thing that they didn't! I got my visa 11th of January.[/QUOT
Hi! I sent mine on September 16,2011. I called up AHPRA-WA two weeks ago, an agent told me that they are now processing the applicants of September. Your case officer emailed you already? Everytime I call their office, they keep on asssigning me to different case officer and told me to just wait for him/ her to contact me. The last time I checked, the applicants of August received their letters on November. It's been 4months and I wonder what happened to ours? I hope that we could receive it soon because I'm planning to enroll at CON in Sydney. :)

i could not find their email last december but during that time they said that their processing applications sent last august 2011. this was not my case officer, i sent an inquiry via ahpra website.
thank you so much aila. . . i am really hoping that we will receive our ahpra eligibilty letter soon. . .
