Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

hi there! try IHNA melbourne for february intake. i think it took me less than a month to apply there (assessment, interview and offer letter). and what i like about IHNA is that you dont have to pay the whole amount of 11000AUD to obtain your Confirmation letter for Visa Application.

As I'm still looking for financial sources, I'd want to know the length of time that will be given for the tuition fee payment after I receive their Letter of Offer/Confirmation that says I'm accepted in the program and should proceed with the payment of A$10,000?
hi everyone! i'm a newbie here. i need your help regarding the email that i received from AHPRA. it seems that i need to request another documents from my school aside from the course outline that i've already submitted ealier to them. my question is what do you call the documents they are requesting below? in order for me to clearly state my request to my school. thanks!
Transcripts of training – We need breakdown of subjects for theory as well as clinical in clock hours. Also be advised that core subjects should be covered in transcripts examples Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, microbiology, Paediatrics and aged care etc. In this regard make arrangements with school of nursing to send that information directly to us or you can submit us certified copies of them. (Even though we have received course outline however we still need this transcript of training – displaying breakdown of subjects in theory and clinical in clock hours)
I had my interview this morning and i guess it went well. however, i am not that confident with all of my answers. At first, i was asked about my self, secondly she was asking some experiences based on my clinical exposure and lastly she threw about 4 questions and its all situational. Its more of prioritization. Perhaps i answered everything, yet not really sure if i answered correctly hahahaha :uhoh3: ( back of my head said " bahala nalang si batman) huhu...

I did submit the necessary documents last November 30. However, on December 1, I received an e-mail to re-send the whole set of requirements to another e-mail address. I did as instructed and I was only sent a confirmation of receipt of my documents. There was no interview schedule given out. How did yours go? Were you outrightly given an interview schedule after sending all the documents?
Does anyone know of accommodations near La Trobe Bendigo which accepts students enrolled in BP? I was hoping to be able to get accommodations on-campus but then I found out that they are only for students enrolled for at lease one semester. They are not for BP students. Tsktsktsk...
My other option is to stay with my friend who lives in Deer Park Victoria. It would take me around 2 hours just to get to La Trobe Bendigo. That's pretty far and the train fare is not exactly cheap.

I believe they are asking for your Related Learning Experience.Your nursing school can easily provide the this for you OR you may show them the email itself so they can provide you the said documents. Good luck!

yes i was interviewed thru skype face to face..
At first i was asked if im currently staying in aussie or overseas. After i responded with their email, they immediately scheduled me for an interview.
Better ring them so you could ask for your interview date..:)
